April 19, 2017 – 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Instructor: Vickie Clontz

Make this sweet Woolfelt basket with flowers to enhance your spring décor! Finishing 7” wide x 10” long, it’s the perfect size for holding greenery, jewelry, tableware, all sorts of things. Learn several techniques for dimensional wool flowers embellished with a bit of dyeing, beads and embroidery. Great for Woolfelt scraps, the flowers can also be used to enhance wall hangings, purses, headbands, or just to wear as a pin. All skill levels.

Kits will be available for the Wooly Flower Basket for $12.00, this will include all the Woolfelt, beads, and pearl cotton. Students should bring:

  • Disposable gloves for dyeing
  • Apron or old shirt
  • Fat quarter inexpensive muslin for heat-setting dyed wool
  • Sharp, small fabric scissors
