To be included in the Guild Directory, please pay by the end of the March meeting.
Scholarship memberships are available and are awarded at the Board's discretion.
Service awards in the form of workshop fees or books may be made to members who volunteer
for special events and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities of Members
The Guild depends on the participation of the entire membership
for the success of the organization. Participation includes:
-
Payment of dues, which covers newsletter and other administrative costs.

Purchase or sale of at least 10 tickets for the "opportunity quilt"
-
Participation in at least one AQG committee
    (see Membership Form for listing)

Participation in the Asheville Quilt Show
    Minimum 2 hours service at the show
    Service on at least one quilt show committee
There are many opportunities to participate in the work of the Guild
through committees and projects. New members are encouraged to become involved.

Junior Memberships
Guidelines for AQG Junior Membership:
-
AQG junior membership category is open to persons 15 years or younger;
A junior member must be sponsored by a Guild member in good standing (paid membership dues for the current year);-
Annual junior membership dues are $10; annual renewal by March 31.

Junior members will be so designated in the AQG Directory; will receive a disPatch via e-mail; and will receive an AQG membership pin;

Junior members must be accompanied by a current adult member to all events; must be accompanied by a participating adult member to participate in paid events; and participation in membership activites (e.g., workshops, bus trips, block exhanges, challenges) must be approved by the appropriate committee chair.
