February Guild Meeting: Silent Auction and Stash Busters

Ways and Means invites you to come early and maybe stay late for some special opportunities to get great deals on quilting supplies and help the Guild raise funds for its operations.  We are hosting a Silent Auction of items generously donated to Community Quilts by the general public, but that they cannot use.  They will include quilt kits, thread, notions, jelly rolls, fat quarters and yardage.  Bidding on many items will start at $1.  The Silent Auction will close after the break and winners will be able to pick up their purchases at the end of the meeting.  

In addition, we invite you to bring things from your stash that you no longer need or want that you are willing to donate - Stash Busters!  These can be any item - patterns, kits, books and magazines, rulers, templates, trims, notions, tools, fabric, or thread.  When you arrive we will give you a card/s for your name and the amount you think is a reasonable price for your item/s and invite you to put them on the sales tables.  Members will be able to shop all these goodies and take any they would like to buy directly to the cashier right then, at the break or at the ending of the meeting.    

Our February general membership meeting is your LAST chance to purchase tickets for our Moda Quilt Kit.  Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased with cash or check.  We will be drawing the winner during our meeting. The winner does not need to be present to win, but it’s more fun if you are there so please plan on attending if you’ve already purchased your  raffle tickets.
