UNCA Reuter Center Display
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the Reuter Center is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed learning community dedicated to promoting lifelong learning, leadership, community service and research. Several AQG members have taught at the Center including Mary Field, Elaine Zinn, Julie Simpson and Jane Gump.
The AQG has been given the opportunity to display members’ quilts in the two-story lobby area of the building. The display changes every three months, and the area can accommodate four large size quilts. Signs including the quilt artist’s name, the name of the quilt, and sale price (if it is for sale) are placed by each quilt. Quilts must have a hanging sleeve that can accommodate an 8-inch circumference hanging rod. If you are interested in participating in any of these exhibits, please contact the Guild Projects Chair.
