National Quilting Day Baby Quilts

The third Saturday of March each year is National Quilting Day. One way in which the Guild celebrates this is by donating baby quilts to each baby born that day at Mission Hospital. The day after National Quilting Day (Sunday), Guild volunteers deliver the quilts to the new parents who are delighted and very grateful for the gift, hand made by Guild members. It is never too early to begin creating baby quilts for this project. The quilts should be no smaller than 40″ x 40″ and can be square or rectangular. A mix of boy, girl, and gender-neutral quilts are needed.  Please contact the Guild Projects Chair if you have a quilt to donate or are interested in helping to deliver the quilts.
